WE NEED HIM

A friend of mine said to me the other day about life….”If it were easy, we wouldn’t need God”.

Wow, how true is that! Now I have heard this before, but for some reason it really spoke to me this time. Although at times my Flesh Woman, as author Joanna Weaver calls her, insists she’s in control, I am so thankful that in all actuality she/I am not, because it makes me run to Him.

Isn’t it exhausting to try to figure out all the unknown things in life? To try to control everything before it happens, as its happening and its outcome as well. Leaving that up to God is so freeing. Realizing that He is a mighty God and whatever is unknown to us, is completely in His control and He always knows what’s best….because I think we have proven over and over that we absolutely cannot do this thing called life on our own.

Thanks God for creating us with this need for You. And I humbly thank You for Your patience in waiting for me to figure that out. I love You.
