Gr8ful

Sometimes life throws curveballs. In the wake of those curveballs I sometimes find it easy to feel sorry for myself. And I have found myself saying maybe God has forgotten all the other things I have had to endure and surely He didn’t mean to give me this too.

Then I slap myself….And I remember all the AWESOME things He has given me.

Like….Eternal life with Him

Like….A mom I could not have special ordered any better.

Like….A sister who is my best friend.

Like….A family who I love very much and who loves me back

Like….My Christyann (my cat a/k/a love of my life) who I got to love for 18 years

Like….When I had cancer, He healed me through surgery and delivered me from having to have chemo or radiation.

Like…..Amazing friends that I get to do life with.

Like…..a burning desire to introduce Jesus to all who do not know Him!!

Whenever I feel sorry for myself, I will remind myself of the ways my God loves me.

What are you Gr8ful for?

What I'm I gr8ful for ?

-My mom for bringing me into this world probably kicking and screaming. Can you imagine what our moms had to put up with. Whew !

-My dad for teaching me to do the right thing and those whippings reminded me when I was being abnocious as a kid.

-My church for teaching me to give, not just financially, but of myself, love happiness and not expect anything in return. :-)

-My friends that love me unconditionally and ones that I may of only met once, but made a huge difference in my life and how I see others. '-)

-For my holidays out west to ski country, England, Czech Republic, Spain and other far away places.

-My job during this economic hard times. I'm truly blessed to have a job that I would do without pay.

-The area in which I live called western North Carolina. The skies are so blue, mountains so green and the streams and rivers sound like laughter. The lake sounds early in the morning with a fish jumping and fog hovering just above the water. Wow !

-For my sight and hearing. God gave me two ears and one mouth. I decided He was trying to say listen more than you speak dummy. lol Okay okay okay. I get it Lord.

Miss J, my list could go on and on. Do you have a couple of more hours to read? :-)

Jena, you just put a big smile on my face. Thank you! As always, your blogs are awesome.

I am most grateful for my son and for what an awesome little man he is turning in to. I'm grateful to be doing life at FRC and for all of the good people God has introduced me to in my life.

I'm very grateful that God has healed you Jena and has infused you with His presence and blessed you with the talents you share with us in you blogs. Thank you God!!!
